Midwinter Morning

from $21.95

Archival Reproduction On Canvas

It was a mid-winter storm that paralyzed the country side in 1979, unfortunately the milk still needed to get to our dairy for processing. Our usual driver was afraid to take the tank truck out to pick up the milk, so I rode along with my husband for a thrilling ride over the snow-covered roads. I was anxious to get a close-up view of the old fieldstone farm I admired from a distance. The lane was drifted shut so my clever husband drove down the frozen field above it. I was so inspired I could have captured it on the spot. I sketched until my fingers were numb. The out buildings are gone now, but thankfully to my many paintings and drawings their legacy is preserved.

Please allow 10 - 14 days processing/shipping time for the reproductions on canvas.
